Job description

Retail Assistant – Full Time

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week. Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour (depending on age). Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more!

As a Retail Assistant you will:

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Enjoy activity; ability to move between duties such as deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliable and a key part of a small team; dependable to do best on each shift.
• Flexible with shift changes to cover for colleagues; rota planned three weeks in advance with consideration of outside commitments.
