Job summary

Primark in Walsall is hiring a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term contract ending 02 January 2027. The role is part-time with contracted hours of 8–20 per week and varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

You will deliver friendly service, help customers with sizes and styling, keep the shop floor tidy, process till queries and returns, and assist with deliveries. The salary is £13.00 per hour with benefits such as a pension, employee discount, and development

Qualifications

• You’ll provide excellent customer service and assist with sizes/styles, purchases or returns.
• You’ll keep the shop floor tidy and merchandised, with full shelves and clean fitting rooms.
• You’ll process tills efficiently, handling queries, voids and returns.
• You’ll receive and check deliveries, price items and ensure standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
