Job summary

Retail Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our busy Retail team, providing a high quality service that enhances the care of our patients.

Previous experience or working within a Retail environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

This position will be 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday, working some bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

Retail Assistants are responsible for ordering, checking, pricing and displaying goods, assisting in the sale of goods to patients which supports the rehabilitation of patients, daily cashing up and the weekly reconciliation of money.

Job responsibilities

To ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to, supporting the team in ensuring stock levels are maintained and providing a high level of customer care making sure that the services we provide always meet our customers requirements.

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
