Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a Retail Assistant on a fixed-term, part-time basis. You’ll work 20 hours per week with varied shifts from mornings to evenings and weekends, with start times around 05:00–06:00 on certain days.

You’ll deliver great customer service, set up attractive shop floors, assist with till queries, handle deliveries, and price new stock. Enthusiasm for fashion and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over for shifts before 6:00am or after 11:00pm.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Set up an appealing shop floor, tidy fitting rooms and well-stocked shelves.
• Deliver fast, friendly till experience and process queries and returns.
• Receive deliveries, price stock and ensure high standards are met.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour

Contracted hours: 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts including mornings; afternoons; evenings and weekends – all will be discussed at interview -'Applicants need to be able to start at 05:00am on Monday to Saturday, and 06:00am on Sunday. Due to these hours, applicants must be aged 18 years or over'

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
