Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Retail Assistant at The Gunner Café, Purvis Lines, Larkhill. You will interact daily with Armed Forces personnel, handling transactions, stocking shelves, and supporting promotions. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development within Sodexo.

The role focuses on delivering friendly service, maintaining store standards, and ensuring responsible retailing including ID verification for restricted items.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over to sell restricted items.
• Retail experience? Great. No experience? We’ll provide full training.
• Sales awareness – contribute to store performance and cost control.
• Product knowledge – understand what we sell and how it benefits customers.
• Digital know-how – use store systems and applications confidently.

Responsibilities
