Job summary

Primark Dunfermline is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our energetic store team on a part-time, temporary basis. You’ll help customers, maintain displays, and process till transactions during varied shifts from early mornings to evenings.

The role offers a £13.00 per hour rate, flexible hours (8–20 per week), and benefits including an employee discount, pension, and wellbeing support. Applicants must be 18+, eligible to work in the UK, and available for weekend shifts. End date 02/01/2026.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing shopping experience, assisting with sizes, styles, purchases and returns.
• Setting up and maintaining an attractive shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms.
• Delivering fast, friendly till service and handling queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving deliveries, pricing and placing products on the sales floor to high standards.

Contracted hours: 8 to 20 hours per week
Shift pattern: Varied shifts between 06:00 am to 06:00 pm including weekends.Specific shift patterns will be discussed during the interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
