Job summary

Primark in Derry is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to deliver a friendly, customer-focused shopping experience. This FTC role runs 20 hours per week, with shifts Monday–Friday 2pm–6pm and a pay rate of £13.11 per hour. The contract ends on 2 January 2027.

You will help customers with sizes and purchases, keep shelves neat, and process till transactions and returns, while ensuring pricing and displays meet high standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a visually appealing shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms.
• Deliver a fast, friendly till experience, handling queries and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and pricing new deliveries and ensuring products are on display correctly.

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
