Job summary

Please note this role is currently only being advertised to staff members who are currently working within the Kent and Medway ISC.

The role of the Resuscitation Officer is to save lives.

Resuscitation Officers ensure that at the time of a patient suffering in a cardiac or peri arrest they receive the highest quality care to maximise their chance of surviving.

You will support the Lead Resuscitation Officer in designing and delivering strategic objectives across the organisation.

You will be a part of training and educating staff of all levels and specialities.

Main duties of the job
  • Training and education of all staff in resuscitation related skills.
  • Design and delivery of resuscitation related training packages.
  • Investigations of cardiac and peri arrests.
  • Auditing of equipment and cardiac arrest incidents.
  • Supply and stock control of consumables.
  • Debriefing.
  • Responding as part of the cardiac arrest team.
  • Course directing RC(UK) national courses.
