Job summary

HireIQ is seeking an experienced Restructuring professional to join the growing Restructuring and Turnaround team in Greater London. You will lead engagements, manage client delivery and supervise junior staff while advising lenders, corporates and PE sponsors on restructuring options.

The role focuses on stressed and distressed scenarios, with responsibilities spanning liquidity analysis, cash flow forecasting and financial modelling to support strategic decisions and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

  • Strong restructuring, turnaround or financial advisory experience.
  • Experience with stressed and distressed businesses.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling capability.
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and liquidity analyses.
  • Understanding of debt structures and refinancing options.
  • Experience managing engagements and junior team members.
  • Strong report writing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial understanding of restructuring scenarios.
  • Exposure to lenders, corporates, private equity or financial stakeholders is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage restructuring and turnaround engagements.
  • Undertake Independent Business Reviews and options analyses.
  • Review short and medium-term liquidity requirements.
  • Build and review 13-week cash flow forecasts and financial models.
  • Assess business plans, forecasts and restructuring scenarios.
  • Analyse working capital, debt capacity and funding requirements.
  • Support debt restructuring and refinancing processes.
  • Advise corporates, lenders, investors and other stakeholders.
  • Identify operational and financial restructuring opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Support contingency planning and distressed M&A situations.
  • Manage multiple engagements and project workstreams.
  • Lead and develop junior members of the team.
  • Support pitches, proposals and wider business development activity.

Your Experience

  • Strong Restructuring, Turnaround or Financial Advisory experience
  • Experience working with stressed and distressed businesses

  • Understanding of debt structures, refinancing and restructuring options
  • Experience managing engagements and junior team members
