Job summary

Interpath is seeking an Assistant Manager for Restructuring in the North Markets, with potential base locations in Leeds, Manchester or Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves working in cross‑functional teams on large, complex insolvency and restructuring engagements across sectors, with travel and some international work expected.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified (or due to qualify in 2026) or an experienced restructuring professional.
• Desirable corporate insolvency experience and potentially an insolvency licence (JIEB).
• Experience managing workstreams within Restructuring and Insolvency engagements.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work in engagement teams of 3–6 people, supporting senior members.
• Build strong relationships with senior management and lenders.
• Manage engagements to scope, time, quality and budget.
• Oversee client contact on relevant assignments.
• Undertake detailed analysis to present robust advice.
• Develop innovative solutions and assess options including insolvency processes.
• Contribute to business development or new product ideas.
• Develop junior staff on assignments.
