Job summary

Orangery at Ardencote Hotel & Spa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the Orangery Restaurant team and drive exceptional guest dining experiences. You will manage day-to-day operations, collaborate with the Head Chef, and develop a high-performing team while delivering strong financial performance.

You will be responsible for recruiting, training and coaching staff, controlling payroll and costs, and ensuring top standards of hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as Restaurant Manager or senior F&B leader in a quality hospitality environment.
• Proven track record of delivering guest service excellence.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience managing budgets, payroll and departmental costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Assistant Restaurant Manager, Supervisors and F&B Assistants.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences throughout the dining journey and foster service excellence.
• Drive restaurant performance through leadership, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring standards, policies and procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Recruit, train and appraise restaurant staff and manage performance.
• Monitor staffing, payroll and departmental costs to meet budget targets.
• Develop initiatives and upsell opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, health & safety and regulatory compliance.
• Take on Duty Management responsibilities and support other departments when required.
