We’re recruiting a Restaurant Manager for a beautiful country‑house hotel set in one of the Lake District’s most picturesque villages.

You’ll be part of a close‑knit front‑of‑house team who take real pride in the details; from immaculate table presentation to genuine, relaxed hospitality.

There are beautifully crafted tasting menus and a la carte menus on offer, brimming with mouth‑watering dishes as well as an extensive wine list providing the perfect accompaniment for any dish.

They are looking for someone with experience in a quality hotel or restaurant environment, a natural host with strong people skills and an eye for detail, and someone calm, organised, and confident managing service in a fast‑paced but refined dining room.

Responsibilities
  • Have a solid restaurant background of working within high level establishments
  • Have excellent knowledge of food and wine and be a real people person, able to build up good relationships with regular clientele
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and have a passion for the industry
  • Be a hands‑on restaurant manager, committed to providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Be responsible for ensuring a smooth‑running operation and leading your team by example at all times
