Restaurant Manager

Employer: Memory Corner

Location: Richmond, BC V6X 4a9

Salary: $36.60 per hour (30-35 hours per week)

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
  • Evaluate daily operations.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
  • Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
  • Monitor staff performance.
  • Plan and organize daily operations.
  • Recruit staff.
  • Set staff work schedules.
  • Supervise staff.
  • Train staff.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
  • Manage events.
Qualifications
  • Education: College/CEGEP.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Languages: English required, Mandarin an asset.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word.
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, ability to multitask.
