Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist customers across the store, drive sales, and promote the Dobbies Club membership. You’ll work on the shop floor and other areas, helping with queries, stock, till work, and food service where applicable, in a busy environment.

You will thrive in a fast-paced team, bring a smile to customers, and show up well-presented with a can-do attitude. Training and development are supported.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service and assisting with transactions across the store.
• Driving sales by engaging customers and promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Helping with customer queries using product knowledge, including dietary needs.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and upkeep with the team.
• Working on shopfloor, stock, cash handling, till work, deliveries, and restaurant service as needed.

Job description

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge as well as allergies and dietary requirements
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, till work, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant service- an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
