Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres Ltd is hiring a Restaurant Assistant for Saturdays on a part-time basis, 6 hours weekly, with full training provided. Previous catering, barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.

You will join a family-owned, award-winning group with five garden centres across the South of England, delivering friendly service, making drinks, serving at the counter and supporting the restaurant team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality or barista roles is preferred but training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work Saturdays and part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the counter.

Job Description

We are recruiting a Restaurant Assistant on a Part-Time and permanent basis, working 6 hours a week every Saturday.

Previous catering, barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Pay Rate up to £12.71 per hour

The role of Restaurant Assistant

To provide general assistance within the restaurant which enables us to exceed customer expectations and maximise all sales opportunities.

This role is well suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with excellent customer service skills and a desire to learn. Being proactive and energetic is essential as this is a busy fast paced environment.
