We’re looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to undertake the role of Responsive Repairs Manager within our Property Services team as part of the Customer Services Directorate.

About The Role

As Responsive Repairs Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of Karbon Homes’ Responsive Repairs service, ensuring repairs are completed quickly, safely, and cost‑effectively. You’ll manage a team of Operational Team Managers and work collaboratively across the business to deliver high‑quality services that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. This is a key leadership role, driving innovation, compliance, and service excellence.

About You

You should have a proven track record of managing responsive repairs or maintenance services in a housing or property environment, with strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate, and engage others. You’ll be highly organised, capable of managing budgets, interpreting complex data, and delivering operational improvements.

You’ll have excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the resilience to work under pressure. A relevant degree or professional qualification (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Key Details
  • Responsive Repairs Manager - Permanent, Full time
  • Salary - 54,916 per annum
  • 633 flexible pot (which can be used for salary top‑up)
  • Location: Newburn or Stanley (with travel across Karbon footprint)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Karbon car payment - 2,317 per annum (own car to be used)
  • Participation in the management of our out of hours service, which includes additional standby payments
