A leading banking institution is seeking a Responsible AI Mobilisation Lead to guide AI development with a strong focus on ethical standards. The role involves developing enterprise AI guardrails, accelerating responsible AI initiatives, and influencing senior leadership to promote a safe AI culture. Ideal candidates possess a PhD in AI, significant industry experience, and proven skills in managing AI risks. A hybrid working model is available.
A transformative leader in responsible AI, enabling the Business and Platform. This role will inform the standard for ethical AI development and deployment for the Group especially when it comes to guardrails and technical AI risk mitigation approaches.

SALARY: £90,440 + (dependent on location and experience)
LOCATION(S): Bristol, Edinburgh or London
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above office locations
At this exciting time when Lloyds Banking Group is starting to adopt AI at scale, we are seeking a deep expert in responsible AI to join our AI Centre of Excellence in the Chief Data and Analytics Office! This hands-on role will play a critical part in enabling the Business and Platforms in Responsible AI approaches and techniques, guiding a team of specialists who do the same!
The role will partner with the Platforms to define and build enterprise guardrails and help to mitigate AI risks in some of our key AI use cases. You will be at the front of responsible AI development.
This role is essential to helping Lloyds Banking Group scale responsible AI. You'll be expected to act as a transformative leader, with a strong vision, promoting a culture of safe and ethical AI throughout the organisation, advising our senior leaders.
