Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group’s Care By Us arm is seeking Respite Support Workers across Hertfordshire with full-time and part-time roles available. You’ll travel to support clients in West & Central Herts and East Herts, helping maintain daily routines and promoting independence.

You'll work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible hours to fit around school runs. Pay rates range from £14.70 to £16.50 per hour, plus 45p per mile for travel between clients, and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Family-style support: integrate into daily life to provide companionship and emotional support.
• Personal care: assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding with dignity.
• Household support: cooking, meal prep, laundry, light housework.
• Community inclusion: encouraging participation in hobbies and community activities.
• Medication: administration or assistance as directed by care plans.
