Qualifications

Respiratory Specialist Nurse/Physio/Paramedic

CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services - CLCH NHS Trust provides a range of Community Services, and the Hertfordshire Division is recruiting!

Work within a multidisciplinary respiratory team to deliver community respiratory service in West Hertfordshire providing specialist services including hospital at home (admission avoidance and early supported discharge scheme and Virtual Hospital), home oxygen assessment & review service, home visits to provide expert specialist care to patients with OSA, COPD, Asthma, Bronchiectasis, and ILD.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide patient-centred, integrated care over seven days a week, delivering specialist services such as admission avoidance and contributing to the new Integrated Airways Virtual Hospital in collaboration with the Hospitals Trust. You will also gain expertise in providing specialist care to patients with COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, OSA, and ILD, as well as managing those who require home oxygen therapy.

As part of a large, experienced community respiratory team, you will be supported by a team of Band 7 and Band 8a professionals, a Consultant Respiratory Physiotherapist, and Respiratory Consultants

Education/Qulifications
  • Nursing/ Paramedic/ Physio Degree qualification or equivalent
  • Current NMC /HCPC registration
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification or equivalent experience

  • Experience of working with respiratory patients
