Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking an Assistant Clinical Physiologist to join the Respiratory Physiology team based at Ninewells Hospital. The successful candidate will support the delivery of Respiratory Physiology and Sleep Services across NHS Tayside by preparing and calibrating specialist equipment and performing a range of routine respiratory and sleep diagnostic investigations.

The post holder will also play a key role in the APAP service, including patient education, treatment initiation and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience working within a healthcare environment would be desirable.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Positive and flexible approach, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and calibrate specialist respiratory equipment and perform routine respiratory and sleep diagnostic investigations.
• Support delivery of Respiratory Physiology and Sleep Services across NHS Tayside.
• Contribute to the APAP service including patient education, treatment initiation and ongoing patient support.
