Overview

This is a superb opportunity for a passionate and experienced Respiratory Practice Nurse to join a very well respected and close-knit GP Surgery. The practice is ideally looking for full time but part time would be considered. The role focuses on Asthma and COPD with no expectations to cover Treatment Room duties. There is the option to work one day per week from home if working full time. The surgery supports continuous career progression and development, with patient care as the top priority.

Location: Redditch

The surgery is a very well respected GP training practice with superb staff retention, a forward-thinking approach, and a strong MDT with other Practice Nurses and Treatment Room Nurses. It performs well in CQC and QOF, is highly regarded locally, uses Emis Web, and operates as a single-site practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide a focused clinical service for Asthma and COPD within a GP practice setting.
• There are no expectations to cover Treatment Room duties; the role concentrates on respiratory care.
• Possibility to work one day per week from home if employed on a full-time basis.
• Work within a supportive MDT environment with other Practice Nurses and Treatment Room Nurses.
• Deliver care that aligns with the practice’s standards and patient care priorities.

Qualifications

• Essential experience as a Respiratory Practice Nurse within a GP practice setting.
• Strong background in respiratory care focusing on Asthma and COPD.
• Ideally experience with Spirometry (or willingness to undertake the course).
