Job summary

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking two Respiratory Physiologists to join the Respiratory Physiology department. The posts are based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and Lincoln County Hospital with Trust-wide working.

The post holder will support day-to-day running, perform reports and supervise complex investigative procedures. Applicants should have a relevant degree and registration, and be prepared to work flexibly in a busy NHS environment.

Qualifications

• BSc (hons) in Respiratory Physiology or equivalent required.
• ARTP 1 & 2 Training/Assessment qualifications required.
• State registration with RCCP required.
• Experience performing diagnostic procedures in Respiratory Physiology NHS.
• Experience in NHS department desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical technical service through resource management and equipment quality control, while educating staff and contributing to procedures and service development.
• Involvement in all aspects of physiological measurement in the Respiratory Physiology department, using various equipment to assess lung function in inpatients and outpatients.
• Oversee sleep assessment, CPAP management, and exercise testing; support day-to-day running of the service.
