Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting a Respiratory Equipment Inspector for a site in the Devonport area. The role is initially temp-to-perm, with training provided on respiratory equipment inspection, servicing and repair.

You will carry out inspections, manage asset records and work with the Plymouth team and customers to ensure high standards of workmanship. The ideal candidate has practical experience with equipment or technical systems, strong problem-solving skills and a clean

Qualifications

• Practical experience with equipment, machinery or technical systems.
• Experience of inspection, maintenance, repair or fault finding.
• Good manual handling skills.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills, including a professional telephone manner.
• Good IT and data-entry skills with accurate record keeping.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Methodical approach and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out monthly COSHH inspections, annual servicing and repairs of respiratory equipment.
• Inspect and maintain equipment including PAPR/SCBA, Full Face Mask and Half Mask Respirators.
• Complete and maintain COSHH records and documentation.
• Update and maintain asset tracking system.
• Manage workshop stock and parts for monthly testing and maintenance.
• Ensure inspections and repairs meet required standards.
• Provide support to the wider team in the Plymouth area.
• Work with customers to deliver professional, helpful service.
