Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse/Allied Health Professional to join the COPD/Asthma audit team across WCH and CIC. The role focuses on delivering COPD/asthma care and contributing to national audit data within secondary care, inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will work to high clinical standards, follow NMC/HCPC codes, and participate in a 12-month preceptorship for new registrants. Collaborative and compassionate care is valued.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or Allied Health Professional with active registration, eligible to practice in the UK.
• Experience or familiarity with COPD/Asthma care is beneficial.
• Knowledge of NMC/HCPC codes desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver COPD and asthma care with appropriate care bundles.
• Complete national audit paperwork and follow-up advice.
• Assist with departmental audits.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate respiratory care as part of the respiratory team.
• Maintain high clinical standards and liaise with colleagues across wards.
