Salary: National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from 39,100 - 58,700; London 41,600 - 62,400. Salary offered based on skills and experience.

Role responsibilities

As a Resourcing Strategy Associate you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resourcing and pre-employment screening services. Working alongside the Senior Resourcing Strategy Associate and Resourcing Manager you’ll support continuous improvement and deliver high-quality experiences for candidates and hiring managers alike.

  • Supporting the day-to-day operational management of recruitment and onboarding activities across permanent, fixed-term and contingent roles
  • Assisting in the oversight and performance management of our outsourced recruitment (RPO) and pre-employment screening providers
  • Building collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive service excellence and identify improvement opportunities
  • Supporting strategic initiatives that enhance recruitment service delivery, candidate experience and operational efficiency
  • Contributing to the financial management of recruitment services including cost tracking, invoice processing and service credit management
  • Assisting in supplier governance meetings, monitoring SLAs and providing operational insights
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices across the Resourcing Strategy Team to build collective capability
Skills required
Minimum
  • Proven experience in an operational resourcing role within a medium-to-large organisation, ideally in an outsourced or managed service environment
  • Experience supporting project delivery to agreed outputs, timelines and budgets
Essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve service issues
  • Supplier management expertise capable of delivering feedback, facilitating performance discussions and driving continuous improvement
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service to candidates, suppliers and hiring managers
  • A strong advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) embedding inclusive practices into all resourcing processes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple teams
  • Highly organised and resilient, able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using the Workday HR system would be desirable
