The role

Based at our Headington Campus and reporting to the Deputy Director People Operations, the Resourcing Partner will provide strategic and operational expertise in recruitment, talent attraction, and immigration. Working with hiring managers to attract, select and retain high-quality, diverse talent while continuously developing and delivering efficient, inclusive, and effective recruitment processes to enhance the experience for all stakeholders.

What will I be doing?
  • Working with the People Operations Team Manager, develop and continuously improve the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Analyse and report on key recruitment performance data.
  • Provide expert guidance on multi‑channel attraction strategies (including social media) to recruiting managers.
  • Act as the specialist source of knowledge on all immigration queries.
  • Work with the People Systems team to develop and optimise usage of the recruitment system.
  • Working with procurement, ensure favourable terms and control of agency and recruitment consultant agreements and expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop, refine, and champion the University employer brand.
  • Ensure the design and content of all attraction strategies, including the careers section of the main website, are inclusive and aligned with the employer brand and up to dat.
  • Manage and monitor the University's career‑focused social media presence (e.g., LinkedIn, Glassdoor, dedicated channels) to engage passive candidates and respond to comments/reviews, maintaining a professional brand reputation.
What skills do I need?
  • Experience in a similar role with responsibilities for the full recruitment cycle.
  • Expert knowledge of immigration rules, and experience of dealing with complex cases.
  • Proficiency in using social media and professional networks including LinkedIn to attract potential employees
  • Experience of using HR Information and recruitment systems
  • Experience of tracking metrics and using data to inform decisions.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practice in recruitment and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • A solid understanding of employment law and compliance requirements.
About the location

Based at our Headington campus*, you’ll experience the vibrant campus atmosphere and benefit from our modern office environment. The campus is one mile from the centre of Oxford and is served by regular public transport. This role will be hybrid and requires at least 1 day (Tuesday) on campus per week, plus additional as required.*
