Job summary

Devon & Cornwall Police is seeking a Resourcing Officer to lead a small team in delivering recruitment, selection and promotion services for police roles, staff, apprenticeships and volunteers.

You will oversee day-to-day resourcing activity, support campaign planning, advise on recruitment matters and travel as required. The role offers hybrid working with occasional travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience of recruitment and resourcing processes.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR systems desirable.
• Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for ad hoc locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of administrators to deliver efficient resourcing services.
• Coordinate and support recruitment campaigns to meet workforce requirements.
• Provide professional advice on recruitment matters and escalate issues as needed.
