NSFT is seeking a committed Resourcing Lead to drive safe, timely, and people-focused recruitment across our Trust. This is a key role, ensuring our processes are fair, efficient, and aligned with our TALK values.

About the Role

As Resourcing Lead, you will:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing resourcing team, supporting Locality Resourcing Advisors, Assistant Resourcing & Compliance Lead, and Resourcing Administrators.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with NHS pre-employment checks and employment legislation.
  • Advise managers on recruitment best practice, policies, and procedures, including work-related visas and international staff employment.
  • Design, plan, and deliver recruitment campaigns to meet workforce and service development needs.
  • Analyse recruitment data, develop reports, and identify areas for improvement to impact key metrics such as Time to Hire.
  • Ensure effective use of recruitment systems (TRAC, ESR) and support the Trust's social recruiting strategy.
  • Promote inclusive hiring and support the delivery of the workforce aspects of the Equality Delivery Scheme.
  • Represent NSFT at recruitment fairs, conferences, and external events, acting as an ambassador for our Trust.
Main duties of the job

  • Degree-level knowledge, training, or equivalent experience in HR/Recruitment.
  • Experience leading a high-volume recruitment function, ideally within the NHS or a regulated public sector.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, NHS recruitment policy, and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous professional development.

  • Skilled in working with senior managers, clinicians, and external partners to align recruitment with workforce strategy
  • In -depth understanding of NHS Recruitment Policy, employment legislation, Right to Work, DBS, etc
