In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Resourcing & Onboarding Consultant to bring fresh insights and expertise to our People department.

Role Overview

The Consultant, Resourcing and Onboarding will be accountable for the delivery of the overall resourcing requirements for their operational area and for the candidate experience through attraction, selection and onboarding. They will act as subject matter experts for talent acquisition, assessment and onboarding ensuring Carnival UK stay in line with industry best practice This role is positioned at CUK09 level within our organisation and is available on a part-time, 5‑month fixed term at 3 days per week (21 hours) basis. We offer hybrid work including two days working from the Carnival House office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engages with stakeholders to understand recruitment and commercial requirements and agree recruitment criteria/process, assessment/selection tools, key dates and timelines, ensuring they are updated throughout the end‑to‑end process.
  • Uses specialist Resourcing knowledge to determine the most cost‑effective and efficient resourcing plan for every vacancy.
  • Analyzes results and delivery of attraction methods, adapting strategy accordingly when necessary.
  • Identifies key recruitment criteria and metrics to maximise suitable candidate flow through recruitment channels.
  • Sifts through candidate applications, responding within agreed SLA’s to identify the most suitable candidates and present shortlist to stakeholders, making recommendations based on findings and knowledge of the candidate marketplace.

  • Previous recruitment experience in hotel, tourism and maritime/or cruise sector (desirable).
  • Experience of onboarding and candidate management.
