Job Title: Resourcing Administrator

PURPOSE

To work as a member of a team in providing a customer-focused, efficient, and effective service to Dorset Police and Devon and Cornwall Police. The role performs the administration activity across the recruitment team, to deliver effective recruitment and selection.

To work as a member of a team being the first point of contact for all resourcing activities, both internally and externally.

To provide customer- focused, efficient, and effective service by promptly and effectively addressing general enquiries for colleagues and candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Acting as the first point of contact for resourcing activity. Delivering exceptional customer service by promptly and effectively addressing general queries from internal/ external customers via phone, email, in person or IT Systems such as Teams and E-Recruitment.
Officers and staff across both forces are provided with appropriate, professional, customer-focused advice in relation to resourcing related matters. External contacts are provided with details to support their applications and other relevant matters.

To provide guidance in line with HR policies, processes, procedures entitlements and regulations, and know when and how to appropriately refer the matter to relevant colleagues.
Ensures that individuals receive accurate and reliable information in relation to resourcing matters, reinforcing the organisations commitment to transparency.

To support the recruitment, selection, and appointment process as well as the preparation of contractual documents.

Working closely with hiring managers and candidates coordinating adverts, shortlisting, interviews and assessments, ensuring all necessary documents and details are accurately included.
Provides a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Individuals can navigate the recruitment process with confidence.

Maintain accurate and up to date records across various systems, both electronic and paper based in accordance with policy and guidance.

Accurate record keeping supports compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. Recruitment process updates and information will be readily available. Personnel records are maintained accurately and provided in compliance with General Data Protection Act requirements.

Data provision relating to resourcing management information.

Provision of accurate and timely information for informed decisions, identifying areas of improvement and development, effective resourcing strategies to attract, select and retain.

Represent both organisation’s by actively supporting and attending career events, including pre-event preparation, event representation and candidate interaction.
Contributes to building a pipeline and attracting talent.

Collecting biometric and drug testing samples with the utmost professionalism and accuracy.

Supports the pre-employment selection process to ensure the candidates joining either Devon and Cornwall Police or Dorset Police are suitable.

This list of duties is not restrictive or exhaustive and the postholder may be required to carry out duties from time to time that are either commensurate with/or lower than the grade of the post. In some posts this might include the ad-hoc provision of guidance and informal training of new colleagues.
Completion of duties to meet the needs of the Police Service.
