Homes2Inspire is recruiting a Residential Youth Support Worker to join our established residential home in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. You will support a young man with his emotional behaviours, time-management and day-to-day mental health, building trust and resilience.

Join Our Team as a Residential Youth Support Worker!

Job Role: ResidentialYouth Support Worker

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shift Pattern: Long days and sleep-ins on a rotational schedule

Location: Sutton In Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Salary: Starting Rate (£29,767.00), 12 months in position (£30,659.00), QCF Level 3 Qualified (£31,579.00)

Pay Explained: We offer a competitive salary with clear opportunities for progression and increased earnings. As a Band 1 Residential Youth Support Worker, you will receive a starting salary of £29,767 per annum (£14.31 per hour), with the opportunity to earn an additional £5,200 per year through sleep-ins based on two sleep-ins per week (£50 per sleep-in), plus a £100 bonus, giving a total earning potential of £34,967. After 12 months in post, you can progress to Band 2, increasing your salary to £30,659 per annum (£14.74 per hour) and your total earning potential to £35,859. Upon achieving a QCF Level 3 qualification, you can progress to Band 3, earning £31,579 per annum (£15.18 per hour), with a total earning potential of £36,779, including sleep-in payments and bonus. This structured pay scale recognises both experience and professional development, ensuring your earnings grow as your career progresses.

Homes2Inspire is looking for a Residential Youth Support Worker to join the team at an established residential home in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a young person, guiding them towards a brighter future while upholding the highest standards of care. The successful candidate will work closely with a young man to support his emotional behaviours, time-management, and day-to-day mental health. Experience in CAMHS or mental health nursing is preferred but not required.

We're seeking a motivated and resilient individual with a strong work ethic and a methodical approach to challenges. This young person brings a vibrant sense of humour and a large personality, thriving on connection and demonstrating a natural ability to manage emotions and control behaviours. He needs support with time management for school and finding his motivation and enjoys gaming in his free time. We're looking for a dedicated male staff member who can connect with and positively influence this young person.
