Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Telehandler/Forklift Driver to join a major housing project in Swindon. You will safely unload materials, support trades on site, and manage logistics for a busy residential development on a long-term basis.

The ideal candidate holds a Blue CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Handler ticket with CSCS, a valid CSCS card, and at least 2 years of on-site Telehandler experience. Punctuality and independence are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Blue CPCS or NPORS Telescopic Handler ticket (with CSCS logo).
• Valid Green or Blue CSCS card.
• Minimum 2 years of Telehandler experience on a residential site.
• Punctual, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely unloading delivery HGVs and distributing materials to plots for subcontractors.
• Work with bricklayers and carpenters to ensure supplies are available for production.
• Load/unload waste skips and keep the storage yard organized and safe.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report defects to the Site Manager.
• Operate with care in live areas where other trades or residents may be present.
