Job summary

A children's care provider in Solihull is looking for a dedicated Team Leader for a 3-Bed Children's Residential Home focusing on emotional and behavioral difficulties. The ideal candidate will support daily routines, promote positive behavior, and provide personal care. This full-time, permanent role requires experience with children and the ability to manage challenging behavior. Training for a fully funded Level 4 qualification is provided after 3 months of employment.

Service Type: 3‑Bed Children's Residential Home (EBD - Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time
Shift Pattern: 07:30 - 22:30 plus sleep ins including weekends
Role: Team Leader / RSW

Responsibilities
  • Supporting daily routines such as school runs, mealtimes, and bedtime routines
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well‑being
  • Providing personal care when required
  • Supporting educational and recreational activities both indoors and outdoors
  • Facilitating family contact and maintaining safeguarding standards
  • Contributing to household duties, including cooking and cleaning
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records
  • Acting as a Key Worker (depending on experience and role)
