Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people living in the home.
• Build positive, trusting relationships while acting as a role model.
• Support young people with daily routines, including education, hobbies, health, and personal care where required.
• Encourage independence by helping young people develop essential life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care.
• Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure the safety and welfare of each young person at all times.
• Plan and participate in activities, outings, and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, families, schools, and other professionals.
