Millvina House is a vibrant 60 bed nursing home providing accommodation, care and support for residents with general nursing and EMI nursing assessed needs.
We require Residential Support Workers to join our team to deliver quality care to some of the city’s most vulnerable adults. We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join an established team at Liverpool City Council. As the Residential Support Worker will meet the physical, social, and emotional need of service users as agreed in the care plan, to promote independence, safety and wellbeing. You the Residential Support Worker will assist service users with tasks as agreed in support plans. Our dedicated Residential Support Worker will work with individuals to improve and maintain skills and use equipment to support care needs as required.
In your role of the Residential Support Worker will work in partnership or as part of an integrated team of nursing and care staff. You, the Residential Support Worker will provide care in accordance with individual person‑centred support plans. All our Residential Support Workers will promote good care practice, including a commitment to the empowerment of the individual, the maintenance of their dignity and independence, and respect for their cultural, spiritual, and religious needs.
In the role of a Residential Support Worker will contribute to the maintenance of appropriate records and report to the senior support worker any significant changes in the service user or their care needs. The Residential Support Worker will be part of a team of staff working, flexibly over 7 days, including bank holidays and night shifts. You will be required to work a 5 week rota, further details will be discussed at the interview.
