Brook Street Social Care are proud to be in partnership with a very well established, children centred residential care provider for young people.

We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to join the team within a solo placement home for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties based in Nelson, Lancashire.

Essential requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker
  • A minimum 6 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Ideally hold Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or working towards
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Values in line with the organisation, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
