A family-owned care provider is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Canterbury. The role involves delivering high standards of care and support to vulnerable children and encouraging their development. Candidates should hold or be willing to achieve a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care and be over 21 years of age. The position offers a salary of £31,720 per annum with various benefits, including flexible shifts, loyalty schemes, training opportunities, and support for NVQ qualifications.

A Residential Support Worker will deliver high standards of care, protection and support to the children and young people facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional and recreational development in line with the individual care plans.
Acorn Homes are looking for the right Residential Support Worker to join our homes in Canterbury and Sandwich. The Support Worker will need to encourage and motivate children, young people and young adults to develop life skills, and participate in a range of leisure activities, educational interests and social opportunities. Which offer positive challenges within a safe and structured environment.
Acorn Homes is offering it's Residential Support Workers £31,720 per annum . This is based on £13.25 per hour and two sleep shifts worked per week at £40 per sleep.
We also wish to further your skills by funding your NVQ level 3 in childcare.
You will be joining a family owned company whos owner is a patron of the NSPCC. Acorn has an enviable reputation with local authorities for delivering good outcomes for young people and demonstrating resilience. Acorn currently operate eight registered homes all rated Good or Outstanding and you would become a successful part of the team within the home with full support from an active and engaged Deputy and Manager, head office and senior management team.
