Job Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and professional support to children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Assist with daily routines, including personal care, activities, and behavioural management.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well being of all residents.
  • Implement care plans and contribute to the development of individual support strategies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and young people in a care setting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards the Residential Childcare qualification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including 2 days on and 4 days off, with occasional additional shifts to balance a 40-hour week.
  • Compliance with necessary documentation: DBS check, references, health & safety checks, and relevant certificates.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
