Job summary

Good Energy Group is seeking a motivated Electrician to join the Solar Team in a permanent full-time role based in Ringwood, Hampshire. You will install solar panels, EV charging points, and battery storage on residential properties while handling general electrical work.

You will liaise with customers to keep them informed and ensure high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is 18th Edition qualified with an ECS Card and safety qualifications, plus excellent communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition qualification is required.
• ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
• Able to pass Enhanced DBS check.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong IT skills.
• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
• Install EV charging points, solar panels, battery storage and perform general electrical work as needed.
• Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
• Complete installations, troubleshooting any issues prior to handover to ensure high-quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
