Shaftesbury's Children's Service in Shaftesbury is seeking a bank residential support worker. You will provide day-to-day care for children and young people, creating a safe, nurturing setting and supporting wellbeing and development through personalised care and advocacy.

The role covers five nights a week (Wednesday to Sunday) across day, sleep-over and waking night shifts, with weekend work required. An Enhanced DBS or Access NI check is required; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience in care setting or with children with disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day care to children and young people.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports growth, development and wellbeing through personalised care, guidance and advocacy.
• Provide short break support to children and young people with disabilities, in line with regulatory requirements and agreed policies and procedures.
• Support the day-to-day running of the service.
• Work in line with Shaftesbury's core values.
