Job summary

Dianaduggan is seeking Residential Service Charge Accountants to join our client's finance team in London. You will manage and reconcile service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance while collaborating with auditors and property management teams.

The role requires experience in residential service charges, working with external auditors, and familiarity with property management databases and the RICS Service Charge Code.

Qualifications

• Experience in Residential Service Charges.
• Experience working with external auditors and handling detailed audit inquiries.
• Experience working with property management databases.
• Knowledgeable in the RICS Service Charge Code and Professional Statement requirements.
• Understanding of Reserve/Sinking funds management.
• Proven expertise in residential service charge reconciliations.
• Knowledge of Section 20b notices and recoveries.
• Experience working through Debtors and Creditors during Service Charge periods.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will work closely with auditors, property management teams, and various other stakeholders to deliver precise financial reporting and support our clients in achieving operational excellence.

• Role: Residential Service Charge Accountant
• Location: London – 2 days in office, 3 days WFH
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Currently April 2027 (with possibility to extend)
