Job summary

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is supporting a multi-office law firm in Chelmsford to recruit an experienced Residential Property Fee Earner for the Residential Conveyancing team. You will manage a caseload of 25–35 new instructions per month from the outset and work in a role that supports business development and client service.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years PQE in residential property and may be a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years plus experience in Residential Property environment.
• Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives considered.

Responsibilities

• Generate fee income by conducting conveyancing cases for clients.
• Assist other members of the firm on conveyancing subjects.
• Advise clients on conveyancing-related matters.
• Supervise support staff in the Property Department.
• Handle sales, purchases, remortgages and transfer of equity.
