  • Prepare and draft legal documentation.
  • Conduct and check searches and mortgage offers.
  • Prepare completion statements and bills.
  • Prepare pre-completion paperwork.
  • Prepare completions on sales and purchases.
  • Prepare SDLT forms and manage post-completion matters.

Job description

SJC Partners are currently working with a Top 200 law firm, looking to hire a Paralegal into their Residential Property department.

Role Overview:
The role involves undertaking a range of duties under supervision within the Residential Property team, including:

  • Issuing contract papers on sales, including plot sales
  • Assisting with the exchange of contracts
  • Supporting completions and post-completion processes
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and stakeholders in person, by telephone, and in writing
  • Handling enquiries and preparing accurate responses
  • Preparing and drafting legal documentation
  • Conducting and checking searches and mortgage offers
  • Preparing completion statements and bills
  • Preparing pre-completion paperwork, including issuing notices to complete and associated documentation for plot sales
  • Preparing completions on sales and purchases
  • Preparing SDLT forms, Land Registry applications, and managing post-completion matters
