Residential Property Lawyer - Chepstow - 3+ Years PQE

Location: Chepstow

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)

An award-winning South Wales law firm with three offices is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its thriving Chepstow office. With excellent transport links across the M4 and into Bristol, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of residential property matters, including:

  • Sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other legal documents
  • Managing the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion
  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the overall success and growth of the property department
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in property law and conveyancing procedures
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with:

  • 3+ years PQE (flexibility for the right candidate)
  • Proven experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and prioritise tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • A commercial approach and enthusiasm for building client relationships
