Job summary

Wrexham County Borough Council seeks a skilled plumber to maintain and repair plumbing systems across council properties. The role involves new installations, safety compliance, and delivering high‑quality work to tenants in a Welsh bilingual environment.

You will collaborate with site teams, manage inventories, and ensure timely digital reporting while holding a current CSCS card and a valid driving licence. Welsh language ability is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds 2357 in plumbing and heating.
• Current CSCS Card.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing maintenance and repairs on council properties.
• Undertake new plumbing installations and remedial repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and tenant satisfaction.
• Collaborate with site agents, planners and team members.
• Manage materials, tools and vehicle stock.
• Complete all electronic documentation for daily tasks promptly.
