Job summary

Carbon60 in Weymouth is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to carry out domestic electrical installations, inspection, testing, and maintenance across residential properties. You will work to British Standards, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality workmanship while delivering excellent service to customers and colleagues.

The role requires independent work and team collaboration, with flexibility to participate in the regional out-of-hours standby rota.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with current trade certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
• Experience in domestic electrical installations.
• Experience carrying out electrical inspection/testing to British Standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations across residential properties.
• Conduct electrical inspection and testing per British Standards.
• Complete certification, documentation, and records accurately.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and installation issues.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship across projects.
• Liaise with colleagues to record ongoing requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Participate in regional out-of-hours standby rota when required.
