Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Domestic Electrician in Wales to perform installations, repairs and maintenance for domestic properties. The role pays £21–£25 per hour and is on full-time hours but on a temporary basis, with reference ref472580.

You will diagnose faults, upgrade consumer units, conduct EICRs, and complete all certificates and reports accurately while keeping residents informed and the worksite safe and tidy.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to complete certificates and reports accurately.
• Good customer communication with residents.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Consumer unit replacements and upgrades.
• Electrical testing and inspection (EICRs).
• Ensure work complies with BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations.
• Complete job sheets, certificates and reports accurately.
