Job summary

JMC Legal Recruitment seeks a Residential Development Partner / Legal Director in Kent to lead and grow a residential development practice in the South East. The role offers strategic influence, leadership and high-visibility work within a national Real Estate team.

You will drive acquisitions, promotions and development matters, while mentoring junior lawyers and expanding the client network. Hybrid working with strong salary and partner-level prospects.

Qualifications

• Residential Development Solicitor with significant experience
• Strong technical background across development and strategic land matters
• Commercially minded and confident building long-term client relationships
• Existing client following or referral network advantageous
• Autonomy with visibility and progression

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the Residential Development offering in Sevenoaks and the South East
• Build relationships with developers, landowners, agents and professional referrers
• Lead on acquisitions, disposals, option agreements, promotion agreements and development matters
• Mentor and support junior lawyers within an expanding team
• Help shape strategy, growth and future leadership within the department
