Job description

We are looking for Deputy Children's Home Managers that are keen to be part of setting up and managing new homes and have previous experience of working in specialist solo provision, mental health residential settings, crisis accommodation and with children and young people with sensory, ASD, mental health needs and who have suffered significant trauma., Deputy Residential Managers in Rotherham will:

  • Provide assistance and management support to the Registered Manager in the day to day running of service provision
  • Provide assistance to Registered Manager to ensure homes comply with all standards and legislative requirements
  • Provide opportunities for children and young people to influence the decisions that affect them and the service they receive
  • Promote a therapeutic approach with both children and young people and staff
  • Foster a commitment to continuous growth and development for their staff team
  • Work systemically with a range of agencies to ensure a joined-up service centred on the child
  • Monitor and develop standards in line with Children's Home Regulations and work towards ensuring all homes being Good or Outstanding
