Residential Children s Support Worker
Vision for Education have partnered with a Residential Children s home in the Yeovil area, to provide excellent Residential Children Support Workers who have both SEND Education experience and Care experience.
In joining our supply register, you will be given the opportunity to work as a Residential Children s Support Worker and a SEND Teaching Assistant as skills obtained for both roles are transferable.

Pay: £13.68 per hour
Hours: This will be your choice of 07:30am 16:00pm, 15:30pm 22:00pm or 22:00pm 08:00am
Start date: Immediate start / Flexible days
This excellent opportunity would be ideal for an experienced teaching assistant or care professional with a strong background in wither setting, who is looking to carry out long term or day to day supply in the Yeovil area. Your role will see you providing support to the students, promoting independence and providing general care as well as personal care. This role can be extremely challenging, but it is also highly rewarding engaging with vulnerable young people, families and other agencies to help them develop and achieve.

As non-negotiable requirements for this position, a successful candidate will provide 2 Right to Work documents, 2 Proof of Address s, a clear Adult and Child Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, sufficient references from all previous care or education related roles, 2 most recent employer references, a detailed work history form dating back to the age of 11 with no gaps, overseas police check (if required).
In order to work specifically as a Residential Children s Support Worker, after clearing for work you must complete an additional 15 training courses related to care.
